Natalie was born and raised in Westbury, New York. She attended Eastern Connecticut State University where she played lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications in 2009.
Natalie went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2015. Natalie has become certified in several diverse ventures including canine rehabilitation, veterinary assistance and barre fitness. For the last 7 years prior to creating Rev Running, she had been working as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist.
Natalie has focused the last several years on combining her passion for running and physical therapy! She has become specialized in treating running related injuries and optimizing running performance. She has taken courses and is always consistently reading materials put forth by the top researchers within the field. She has earned certifications as a Running Technique Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, RRCA Running Coach and most recently became Barbell Rehab Method Certified. Natalie believes in educating clients with evidence-based practices to better understand their own body, the reasons behind every work-out and creating a plan that works for them!
Tom was born and raised in Mineola, New York and graduated from Chaminade High School in 2003. He attended Fordham University where he studied Public Accounting after serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.
After graduating from High School, Tom enlisted in the Marine Corps Infantry where he completed two combat deployments in Iraq in 2006 and 2008. He uses the skills he learned in every aspect of his life including training others to compete at their highest potential.
Tom is a RRCA Running Coach that provides individualized training plans while helping athletes understand the reasoning for each workout and how it fits into their plan. Tom believes that running is a long term commitment and tries to help athletes achieve their long term goals through hard work and education. From his own training, he understands what it’s like to try and squeeze workouts into a busy schedule!
Natalie and Thomas have finished all race distances in running and triathlon events including 5ks, 10ks, Half Marathons, Marathons, Sprint Triathlons, Olympic-Distance Triathlons, and Half and Full Ironmans over the past 11 years. They also have a very busy household with their toddler and four dogs!
Vilma is also a Long Islander and has become such an integral part of the Rev Running team! Vilma works within the Rev Running PT office helping to keep the day to day operations running smoothly.
As a runner for the past 16 years, Vilma has completed 5ks, 10ks and the Manhattan Half Marathon in 2008. However, the running accomplishment she's most proud of is the NYC Marathon in 2011! Vilma is very helpful in her tips and tricks on how to navigate many Manhattan races that she loves to share with our clients!
Vilma is also a real estate agent, a certified ACE personal trainer, a mom to her beautiful daughter and a dog mom too! Vilma is a strong advocate of strength training to help support your running goals. She enourages our clients to surpass their greatest potential, with her genuine and welcoming personality, which embodies a nearly impossible balance of tenacity and warmth.
