Natalie was born and raised in Westbury, New York and graduated from Carle Place High School in 2005. She attended Eastern Connecticut State University where she played lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications in 2009.
Natalie went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2015. Since graduating, she has attended courses on functional mobilization, kinesiology taping and running medicine. Natalie has become certified in several diverse ventures including canine rehabilitation, veterinary assistance and barre fitness. For the last 5 years, she has been working as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist.
Natalie has focused the last several years on combining her passion for running and physical therapy. She has become specialized in treating running related injuries and optimizing running performance. She has taken courses and is always consistently reading materials put forth by the top researchers within the field. She has earned certifications as a Running Technique Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a RRCA Running Coach. Natalie believes in educating clients with evidence-based practices to better understand their own body, the reasons behind every work-out and creating a plan that works for them.
Natalie has finished all race distances in running and triathlon events including 5ks, 10ks, Half Marathons, Marathons, Sprint Triathlons, Olympic-Distance Triathlons, and Half and Full Ironmans over the past 11 years!
Natalie and her husband, Thomas (another runner, of course!) have a busy household with their beautiful 1 year old baby boy and four dogs!
